CANEVIEW ELEMENTARY ORIENTATION

 

Tuesday, August 5, 2025 

Last Names starting with A-J………………………….8:45 A.M. - 9:45 A.M. 

Last Names starting with K-Z…………………………11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.     

 

The doors will open 10 minutes before the orientation starts. Following a brief welcome by the principal, students and parents will report to the classrooms. Rosters will be posted outside each teacher’s classroom. Please individually label all school supplies before you bring them for orientation. 

Families with different last names should attend only one orientation time. 

We are asking that ONLY the parents attend for students in Pre-K and K. 

If students attend, they must be dressed in school uniform.  

$10.00 Registration fee will be collected for ID, breakfast card, and daily communicator folder. Checks will NOT be accepted-CASH ONLY. Please have exact cash with your child’s name and give it to the homeroom teacher.  If you have more than one child attending Caneview, please prepare payments individually.  We will not be able to give change. No money will be accepted in the office.  

The first car rider tag will be FREE.  Additional car rider tags will be sold for $2.  These tags are mandatory for all car riders. Place the money in an enveloped label with your child’s name and CAR TAG and give it to your child’s homeroom teacher.

Student care registration will be held in the cafeteria following each orientation session. 

Please come at your scheduled time as parking is limited. 

NEW STUDENTS MAY NOT REGISTER DURING ORIENTATION.
